Meet Christy

With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. You may be struggling with anxiety, navigating a difficult relationship, processing past experiences, or simply feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward. Whatever brings you to therapy, you deserve a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.

I consider it a privilege to hear each person's story. My approach is authentic, and trauma-informed, and I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. I want you to feel comfortable showing up as you are, exploring your experiences, and discovering a deeper understanding of yourself. We will work together at a pace that feels right for you, honoring your experiences, needs, and strengths along the way.

I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and somatic practices. My training in somatic trauma therapy and breathwork also informs my work, helping clients explore the connection between their emotions, body, and nervous system. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor our work to you and what you need.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and everyday stress. Together, we can explore patterns that may be holding you back, develop tools for navigating difficult emotions, and build a stronger connection with yourself and others.

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can feel more grounded, understand yourself with greater compassion, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. You don't have to figure everything out on your own. We can begin wherever you are.

A Personal Note

I moved to Boise, Idaho from Seattle, Washington. I absolutely love Boise; it’s a beautiful, quaint city, while also being close to trails and nature. In my free time, I love to be outdoors hiking, running, and biking, and I’m an avid tennis player.
